Short of the Week #2

Wow, what can i say about this weeks entry!

I found this extremely amusing to watch. I mean I wasn't damn right rolling on the floor laughing but for what it is, I think it was done perfectly.

Seth is a story about what looks like a boy in a mans body. He wakes up one morning and lists goals he wants to accomplish. He completes all but one and that's to impress his father. That is pretty much the premise of this short film but, man was this a joy to watch.

Seth played by Logan George was pretty funny, reminded me of a Jim Carey like character with his exaggerated expressions. I think Seth is a well executed short. Well executed to the point it looked natural, there was moments i actually believed that perhaps they casted the actor like that.

What I really liked personally; was the choice of shots in certain scenes. I felt the parts I didn't find funny the shot itself was beautiful to witness. The over exaggerated main actor made me chuckle so much. I mean if you watch this and can't have even a little bit of a laugh. you are probably a robot from the depths of Mordor.

I'm always a fan of well executed films with a small budget and that's what this felt like, 2 actors, a house, and a heap of stuffed animals. ( Watch it and you will see what I mean )

All in all, I thought this was a great comedy short by Zach Lasry.

It had just enough to feel like the jokes weren't stuffed down your throat and really allows you to enjoy the jokes, even the subtle ones.

So yeah, this cheered up my morning and hopefully it willcheer you up too in some way!
